1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by GrowthCoach Canada ("we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our personal growth coaching services, whether provided online, in-person, or through any other medium.

2. Description of Services

GrowthCoach Canada provides professional personal growth coaching services including but not limited to:

  • Leadership development coaching
  • Career transition and professional development guidance
  • Wellness and life balance coaching
  • Personal transformation and goal achievement support
  • Online coaching sessions and consultations
  • Educational resources and materials

Our services are designed to support personal and professional growth but do not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Commitment and Participation

Clients are expected to actively participate in coaching sessions and complete agreed-upon assignments or exercises. Success in coaching requires commitment, honesty, and openness to change.

3.2 Scheduling and Attendance

Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice for session cancellations. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in charges for the scheduled session.

3.3 Accurate Information

Clients agree to provide accurate and complete information during the intake process and throughout the coaching relationship.

4. Coach Responsibilities and Professional Standards

Our coaches are committed to maintaining the highest professional standards and adhere to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics. We will:

  • Provide coaching services with integrity and professionalism
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information
  • Respect client autonomy and support their self-directed learning
  • Continuously develop our coaching skills and knowledge
  • Clearly communicate coaching processes, expectations, and boundaries

5. Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy

5.1 Payment

Payment for coaching services is due prior to or at the time of service delivery unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various forms of payment including credit cards, bank transfers, and online payment platforms.

5.2 Refund Policy

Refunds may be provided on a case-by-case basis for unused sessions within a coaching package, subject to a 30-day notice period and administrative fee.

5.3 Late Payments

Late payment fees may apply to overdue accounts. Continued coaching services may be suspended until payment is brought current.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, communications, and coaching content. Information will only be disclosed:

  • With explicit written consent from the client
  • When required by law or court order
  • In cases where there is imminent danger to the client or others

7. Limitations and Disclaimers

7.1 Not Medical or Therapeutic Services

Coaching services are not intended to substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment. Clients with mental health concerns are encouraged to seek appropriate professional help.

7.2 Results Disclaimer

While we are committed to supporting client growth and achievement, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. Success depends on various factors including client commitment, circumstances, and external variables beyond our control.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for coaching services. We are not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services.

8. Intellectual Property

All coaching materials, methodologies, assessments, and proprietary content remain the intellectual property of GrowthCoach Canada. Clients may use provided materials for personal development but may not reproduce, distribute, or use them for commercial purposes without written permission.

9. Technology and Communication

For virtual coaching sessions, clients are responsible for ensuring reliable internet connectivity and appropriate technology. We are not liable for technical difficulties that may interrupt or affect coaching sessions.

All electronic communications are subject to the same confidentiality standards as in-person interactions.

10. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with appropriate notice. Reasons for termination may include:

  • Completion of agreed-upon coaching objectives
  • Mutual agreement that coaching is no longer beneficial
  • Violation of these terms of service
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Inappropriate behavior or communication

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario. Any disputes arising from these terms or our coaching services will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Canadian law.
